infodas signs grant agreement with German Soldiers and Veterans Foundation

The German Soldiers and Veterans Foundation (SVS) of the German Federal Armed Forces Association has been advocating for the Bundeswehr and its people to be perceived as a given part of society and for their work to be appreciated since 2013.

“We at infodas are working on numerous IT security projects within the military environment and are employers for a large number of employees with military experience. It is very important to us to support the social recognition of the active soldiers and veterans of the Bundeswehr and thus the purpose of the SVS” says Marc Akkermann, member of the infodas management.

The chairman of the SVS, Captain (ret.) Uwe Köpsel and his deputy, Commander Marco Thiele, welcomed Marc Akkermann on November 7th, 2022 for signing the funding agreement. Of course, there was also an exchange on the current activities of the SVS.

The SVS offers individual help in the “Helping Hands” project and does basic work for the development of political demands with projects such as “Together. Not alone.” The SVS helps when financial help is needed quickly and unbureaucratically and builds bridges between people in the German Federal Armed Forces and society. “We are happy to be contributing to these projects through our funding agreement” concludes Marc Akkermann.

The German Soldiers and Veterans Foundation is also a project partner of “Gesichter des Lebens”: the internationally acclaimed photographer Daniela Skrzypczak has collected 600 portraits of soldiers and veterans for her photo book, which powerfully tell the stories of the people depicted.

The SVS is happy about the social commitment of medium-sized companies like infodas, with whose support current and future projects as well as emergency assistance can be funded.
