Recording & analysis of IT structures.

The recording of critical processes and sub-processes and their allocation to existing elements of the ISMS (target objects, building blocks, risks) allows a holistic representation of the dependencies between processes and these elements. This forms the basis for a process-related risk analysis in accordance with the procedure of BSI Standard 100-3 / 200-3.

Assessment of protection requirements / risk analysis.

The risk analysis clearly highlights the existing risks for the best possible assessment by the user.

Modeling of system structures.

Automatic modeling consolidates system structures and thus provides a low-redundancy basic framework of modules and measures to be processed.  The IT baseline protection check based on the modeling allows flexible and targeted processing.

Reporting.

The flexible report manager enables the creation of individual reports based on the available standard reports thanks to its diverse filter and sorting options. Various formats (e.g. pdf; xlsx) are available for output.

Various operating modes.

Data can be stored either locally on the clients and/or on central servers. It is easy to switch between the two operating modes.

Multi-client capability.

Data stocks of different IT security concepts are strictly separated from each other on the system side. Mixing of data is excluded

Data transfer from previous SAVe versions or the GSTOOL.

A separate converter is available to ensure the transfer of data from GSTOOL version 4.8 or SAVe version 4.4. Data from SAVe versions 5.0.9 and 5.1.6 can be transferred directly.

Test license.

We offer a single user trial version for download. Please fill out the request form and you can test SAVe free of charge for 30 days.

You can choose which module you would like to test free of charge for 30 days.

As soon as we have checked and approved your registration for the test license, you will receive the link to the download and the 30-day test phase will begin. If you wish to postpone the start date for special reasons, please contact our support team.

We do not limit the number of test licenses, but you could consider testing the Enterprise environment if you have 5 or more licenses. Please do not hesitate to contact us!

The trial version does not have to be canceled separately but will be automatically deactivated by us after 30 days. If you need to extend the trial period, please contact our support team.

SAVe application.

SAVe is an IT security management system that helps you to define rules and processes within your organization to ensure the security of your IT infrastructure. The ISMS tool facilitates the management and control of process flows. It can therefore be easily adapted to new procedural regulations.

SAVe supports the BSI standards 100-1 to 100-4 and BSI 200-1 to 200-3 for IT baseline protection and the military module.

Based on the structure of the IT-Grundschutz catalog, further methodologies and catalogs can be created on a customer-specific basis.

Yes, it is possible to process GSTOOL data in SAVe. Due to the use of different data models in both products, the modeling used in GSTOOL is adapted to SAVe.

SAVe offers the option of adding comments and links to various object types.

SAVe uses groups for this purpose, in which similar objects can be combined. By assigning the blocks to groups and not to individual target objects, the required links are reduced to a minimum.

Error messages and support requests should be sent to . Support requests unrelated to SAVe program errors, such as questions regarding the setup and use of 3rd party software or business-related issues, are offered separately and must be ordered separately. Support contracts are offered for regular and/or time-critical support services. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

Prices and license fees.

Enterprise is SAVe‘s client-server model. As we often bundle these licenses individually with our consulting services, we are unable to quote a fixed price. Please send your specific request to our SAVe team.

Please refer to our SAVe budget calculator for the license costs. In the first year, you pay the one-off license fee per user and the first year of maintenance.  After the first year, only the annual maintenance costs are due. From 5 licenses, both the license costs in the first year and the maintenance costs for the following years are reduced.

The purchased SAVe license never expires, but if you cancel your annual maintenance, you will no longer receive software updates and you will no longer be entitled to support.

You only have to cancel the maintenance contract for the respective license in due time. The notice period is 3 months to the end of the month.

The annual maintenance includes the provision of bug fixes and program improvements (minor upgrades) for the purchased SAVe main version for 12 months. Standard maintenance does not include upgrades to major versions (major upgrades). 3rd party software, e.g. operating system, web browser or databases are not covered by the maintenance contract.

We want you to get to know all the functions of SAVe and be able to use them safely, so we take time for the training and your individual questions. The training itself includes the following agenda items:
