IT baseline protection practitioner
The IT baseline protection practitioner training serves as an introduction to the BSI certification program. In 24 teaching units, you will learn the basics of implementing the BSI’s IT baseline protection methodology. You will learn how to create comprehensive information security concepts and risk analyses based on the IT baseline protection approach. You will also gain an insight into the topic of emergency management.
The training can be completed with an examination. Participants who pass the IT-Grundschutz practitioner exam are entitled to take part in the IT-Grundschutz consultant advanced training course.
Previous knowledge: The BSI IT-Grundschutz online training course is recommended.
IT baseline protection consultant
The advanced training course for IT-Grundschutz consultants is the second level of the BSI certification program and comprises 16 teaching units. It is aimed at graduates of the IT-Grundschutz Practitioner training course and deepens the content to expert level. The training is conducted exclusively by certified BSI IT-Grundschutz consultants. Participation in this advanced training course is a prerequisite for admission to the examination and certification as an IT-Grundschutz consultant.
The examination to become an IT-Grundschutz consultant is conducted exclusively by the BSI itself.
