2023 – a good year for secure digitization in Germany and a great start to the year for infodas

At the beginning of the year, infodas, partly teaming with partners, has been awarded three large framework contracts. infodas has been supporting enterprises, the military and public authorities in the design and implementation of comprehensive approaches to cyber and information security as well as the protection of IT infrastructures for almost 50 years.

As one of five strong partners, infodas will support the BSI in advising the federal administration on all questions of information security. Authorized federal authorities are being supported in the prevention of security incidents. As one of the most experienced German cybersecurity specialists, infodas contributes its expertise in the field of security and digitization together with main contractor HiSolutions and partners Sopra Steria, Accenture und secunet.

For the Bundeswehr and other authorized agencies at federal level, infodas has recently been awarded a framework contract for their in-house product portfolio SDoT (Secure Domain Transition) and associated partner products and integration services from the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw). This makes it much easier for key players within the German security authorities to implement approved cross domain solutions between systems of different security classifications.

Progress is also being made at the state level. Another framework contract for the Berlin IT service center (ITDZ Berlin) ensures that customers receive comprehensive consulting expertise in the areas of cybersecurity as well as the creation of security concepts in accordance with the BSI’s IT Grundschutz. Here, infodas, as the general contractor, together with its partner secunet, has successfully been awarded with the framework agreement. At the same time, a contract with identical content was awarded to secuvera, so that the state of Berlin has enormous expertise at its disposal.

“We are aware that the security of IT infrastructures is of national importance. At infodas, we are committed to supporting our customers with our expertise and the best solutions and services. The framework agreements with BAAINBw, the BSI and the ITDZ Berlin underline the trust that customers have in the skills and commitment of our company.” says Marc Akkermann, Director Sales at INFODAS GmbH “We are pleased to be able to secure digitization with our partners in in the public sector.”
